History:

The new 167,570 square-foot Library, which opened in fall 2000, presents a spacious environment for research and study. Highlights include a copper-topped rotunda with two-story reading rooms overlooking Lake Superior, two library instruction classrooms, two full-access computer laboratories, an interactive television classroom, a multimedia laboratory, as well as 15 new group study rooms with network connections.
