Application Process
Dear Applicant:
Thank you for expressing an interest in the Graduate Program in Toxicology at the University of Minnesota. We are always looking for talented and enthusiastic applicants for this program.
The following material should be submitted to the University of Minnesota Graduate School:
- Graduate School Online Application through Apply Yourself
You do not need to complete the Duluth Graduate Program Application Request Form if interested in study on the Duluth campus.
- Statement of personal career objectives submitted online through Apply Yourself
- Three letters of recommendation submitted online through Apply Yourself
If your recommenders are unable to submit letters online, they should send letters directly to the Toxicology Graduate Program (see Contact Us page). They must be in sealed envelopes with the signature of the recommender written across the sealed flap of the envelope. You will still need to submit names of your recommenders online to complete your application.
- Official college transcripts
Sent directly from college or university to U of M Graduate School (309 Johnston Hall, 101 Pleasant Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455-0421; see Transcript FAQs for more information).
- Official report of your GRE scores

- Official report of your TOEFL scores for English proficiency if English is not your first language

- Application Fee
$55.00 for domestic applicants, $75.00 for international applicants

Although the deadline for applying to the Toxicology Graduate Program for fall semester is March 15, we strongly encourage you to apply by February 1 to compete for the limited number of graduate student assistantships.
