The mission of the Latino/Chicano Student Programs is to promote and enhance the academic and personal success of Latino/Chicano students by fostering an environment, which will result in a more successful and positive University experience. In order to achieve this mission, Latino/Chicano Student Programs provide several academic, cultural, and social services.

The Latino/Chicano Student Programs works with bilingual staff for students needing Spanish assistance. The office also houses a vast culturally oriented library. The Latino/Chicano Student Programs coordinates campuswide efforts to increase understanding of Latino/Chicana culture and to foster an appreciation of cultural diversity.
