Mission Statement

The mission of the Asian Pacific American Student Program is to create, enhance and enrich the educational experience at UMD.  Our mission is to recruit, retain and graduate Asian/Pacific American students, while promoting a more culturally diverse campus environment.  We work in conjuction with UMD departments, staff and faculty to create an array of supportive services and programs to empower and aid the success of our students, and the enhance their educational experience.
