UMD Music: Ensembles

Under the direction of Dan Eaton, the UMD Bulldog Pep Bands are the groups that perform at UMD home football, hockey, and basketball games as well as a number of other campus events. The Fall Football Band is the main group from which the Hockey and Basketball Bands are drawn. This group is open to all interested students and may be taken for .5 hours of credit per semester. The Hockey and Basketball Bands are paid groups and require both active participation in Football Band and an audition for the director to become a member. Auditions consist of sight reading and performing material taken from the Fall Band folder. These groups perform a large number of musical selections every year and student arrangements and suggestions are welcomed.
