Greetings from Music at UMD

The faculty, staff, and students of the Department of Music join me in extending to our patrons the invitation to hear a grand variety of musical performances during the 2008-2009 school year. The concert menu extends from music faculty recitals to the remarkable artistry of Isabel Bayrakdarian, returning to Weber Music Hall. Add to this the continued excitement of music student ensembles and international artists, the musical treats should appeal to the tastes of all concertgoers.

Please review the 2008-2009 concert schedule. We hope you will find many events which will attract you to campus. We appreciate the continued, and growing, support of our many loyal patrons, and look forward to welcoming new guests as well. The goal of our department is to bring diverse and appealing music to UMD students, staff, and faculty, and to our many friends in the greater Duluth and Arrowhead area. We hope to see you soon, in the beautiful Weber Music Hall!
