Graduate Application Procedures

Before a student can schedule an audition for graduate study at the University of Minnesota Duluth, they must complete the application for graduate study.

Applying for graduate studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth is done through the UMD Graduate School website and the ApplyYourself! application system. Follow this link (www.d.umn.edu/grad) to find out more information about the graduate programs at UMD, and to begin your application now. The application for graduate study in the UMD music department also requires the Departmental Application for Graduate Study found here as a downloadable PDF file. In order to make sure that you correctly add this to your application, please download this PDF file which explains how to add supplementary documents to your online application.
