UMD will hold the Seventh Annual Cultural Show entitled "Arts of Asia" on Saturday, April 29 at 5 p.m. in the UMD Kirby Student Center Ballroom (3rd floor). The show will celebrate the food, art, and entertainment of Asia.

The show will begin with a social hour and an Asian art exhibit followed by a buffet dinner featuring authentic Asian cuisine. Performances during the evening will include:

• Chinese Fluting by the Theater Mu of Minneapolis
• Taiko drumming
• Hmong instrumental performances
• Demonstrations in Tae Kwon Do and Kung Fu
• Korean and Cambodian dancing

Tickets for the event are $14 general admission, $8 students, $5 children, under 5 years old free. To purchase tickets contact Koua Vang at 726-6335 or Khrystyne Lee 728-1847.

The event is sponsored by the Asian-American Student Organization and the Southeast Asian-American Association.
