UMD Student Move-In Day Set for Saturday, September 2 Kicks Off "Bulldog Bash 2000"
UMD kicks off the new school year with "Student Move-In Day" on Saturday, September 2nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The official "Chancellor's Welcome Team" comprised of UMD Chancellor Kathryn A. Martin, along with vice chancellors, deans, professors and staff, will be on hand to "fetch and carry "as students move into their campus residence halls. In addition to moving chores, the "Chancellor's Welcome Team" will also work the two food tents, greet parents, answer questions and visit with students. All will be wearing special UMD Welcome Team t-shirts.
Move-In Day begins "Bulldog Bash 2000", a 3-day series of campus events ranging from convocations and advisement assistance to varsity football, music and entertainment................(Complete schedule was attached).
