FORMER DETROIT RED WING AND MINNESOTA NORTH STAR HOCKEY PLAYER TO HOLD BOOK SIGNING AT UMD FEBRUARY 14, 2000

Former Detroit Red Wing and Minnesota North Star Hockey sensation, Henry Boucha will be at UMD to sign the book Henry Boucha: Star of the North, a biography by Mary Halverson Schofield, on February 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the UMD Kirby Student Center Lounge.

Boucha is an Ojibway from Warroad, Minnesota where he played high school hockey. In addition to playing for the Detroit Red Wings and the Minnesota North Stars he played for the United States National Hockey Team and is one of only ten U.S. American Indian Olympians.

Everyone is invited to come and meet Henry Boucha. There is no charge for the event, and it is open to the public. A reception with refreshments will follow. The book will be available for purchase for $14.95.
