UMD Presents Chancellor's 2000
Outstanding Media Award
Winner is Radio Veteran Kerry Rodd
Mr. Rodd is a 17-year veteran with KDAL Radio. He is currently in his 13th year of broadcasting UMD Men's Hockey play-by-play. He has done scores of interviews and features about the Duluth community on his radio show the "Daily Express".
He is a past recipient of the Associated Press Play-by-play Award for his work with UMD hockey. In 1990 he won the Minnesota Public Service Award presented by the governor for his public service in media.
