UMD Urban and Regional Studies Program Presents Third in Series of "Brown Bag Lectures"

District 7-A State Representative Tom Huntley to Speak on "Duluth and the Upcoming Legislative Session"

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Urban and Regional Studies Program and the UMD Center for Community and Regional Research will present the third program in their fall lecture series.

In his speech titled, "Duluth and the Upcoming Legislative Session", Representative Huntley will cover such issues as:

  • How will cuts in local government aid affect our area?
  • What will the impact be on Duluth of changing state budget priorities?
  • How will Duluth and UMD fare in building projects?
  • Can anything be done at the state level about rising health care costs?

The lecture is free and the public is cordially invited.
