UMD College of Science and Engineering Awards Scholarships

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) College of Science and Engineering has awarded the following student scholarships for 2003-2004:

Mesabi Daily News (Virginia, MN 55792)
Ann Katrina Mariucci, daughter of Carmen (deceased) and Richard Mariucci from Mountain Iron, MN, was awarded the Gordon O. Voss Graduate Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 22, 2003. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Master of Environmental Health and Safety Program. Ann has also obtained an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering.

Aitkin Independent Age (Aitkin, MN 56431)
Kasandra Wiederholt, daughter of Charles and Linda Wiederholt from Aitkin, MN, was awarded the James Scott Soleim Memorial Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 22, 2003. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Masters of Environmental Health and Safety program.John Cirilli, son of Frank and Judy Cirilli from McGregor, MN, was awarded the Moline Machinery Academic Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 22, 2003. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

John Cirilli, son of Frank and Judy Cirilli from McGregor, MN, was awarded the Moline Machinery Academic Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 22, 2003. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.Mason Hansen, son of Reece and Janet Hansen from Cromwell/Wright, MN, was awarded the L. Alden Kendall Alumni Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 22, 2003. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.

Mason Hansen, son of Reece and Janet Hansen from Cromwell/Wright, MN, was awarded the L. Alden Kendall Alumni Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 22, 2003. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.

Hayfield Herald (Hayfield, MN 55940)
Tony Kramer, son of Tom and LaVae Kramer from Hayfield, MN, was awarded the 3M Engineering Scholarship/Internship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 22, 2003. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
