UMD Women's Volleyball Team Receives
American Volleyball Coaches Association
Team Academic Award

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's volleyball team, led by Coach Jim Boos, has been awarded the 2002-2003 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. The annual award honors teams who have "matched their dedication to the sport of volleyball with excellence in the classroom".

Each member of the team received a certificate from Coach Boos, and UMD was given a plaque commemorating the award.
