Announces 2005-06 Scholarship Recipients

Chris Johnson, son of Mark and Theresa Johnson from Saint Louis Park, MN, was awarded a UMD Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.

Jesse M. Phillips, son of Lee and Lynne Phillips from Angora, MN, was awarded the Cirrus Design Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of

Corie Ekholm, daughter of Brian and Sally Ekholm from Nashwauk, MN, was awarded the Tate and Lyle Ingredients Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Jeff Lind, son of Dave and Linnea Lind from Sauk Rapids, MN, was awarded the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Anthony Kuznia, son of Gayle and Annette Kuznia from Argyle, MN, was awarded the Reptron Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

David Schindler, son of Mike and Linda Schindler from Colfax, WI, grandson of Dorothy Slattery from Wisconsin Rapids, WI, was awarded the Schott Foundation Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Jesse Doll, son of James and Mary Doll from Danbury, WI, was awarded an Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Jason Brownlee, son of Calvin and Jill Brownlee from Hibbing, MN, was awarded the Schott Foundation Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Ryan Carlson, son of Jeff and Roberta Carlson from Hermantown, MN, was awarded the Krech, Ojard and Associates Engineering Scholarship by the University of Minnesota Duluth, College of Science and Engineering on September 26, 2005. The scholarship is given in recognition of high academic achievement in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
