UMD Health Services has been awarded the certificate of accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). UMD Health Services provides medical services, counseling, and health education all aimed at the specific needs of today's college student. The clinic serves over 13,000 students each school year.
In order to achieve accreditation, Health Services underwent an extensive on-site survey of its facility and services that evaluated all aspects of patient care.

This is the fifth consecutive time UMD Health Services has received a three-year accreditation.
