University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) Vice Chancellor for Academic Administration Vince Magnuson has announced that the University of Minnesota Board of Regents has approved the following UMD faculty members for promotion and tenure:

• Dalibor Froncek, Mathematics and Statistics, to Full Professor
• Mary Caprioli, Political Science, to Associate Professor with indefinite tenure
• Emmanuel Enemuoh, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, to Associate Professor with indefinite tenure
• Ryan Frane, Music, to Associate Professor with indefinite tenure
• M. Imran Hayee, Electrical and Computer Engineering, indefinite tenure
• Mary Hermes, Education, to Associate Professor with indefinite tenure
• Dahui Li, Finance and Management Information Science, to Associate Professor with indefinite tenure
