"Professor for a Day" Event
November 13

Wells Fargo Executive to Speak on
"Reflections on Diversity: Defining, Demystifying and Empowering"

The UMD Labovitz School of Business and Economics will host its annual "Professor for a Day" lecture on November 13, at 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the UMD Weber Music Hall. Jody Larimore, Senior Vice President and Human Resources Manager of Wells Fargo & Company (Great Lakes Region) will speak on the topic "Reflections on Diversity: Defining, Demystifying and Empowering".

The event is free and the public is cordially invited. Refreshments will be available at 10:30 a.m., prior to the presentation, in the Weber Music Hall lobby.

In her speech Ms. Larimore will present insights into Wells Fargo's inclusive work environment, and discuss the integral role diversity has played in corporation's success. Ms. Larimore's presentation will provide helpful information about the key opportunities and challenges which lie ahead, and the importance of the ability to work in increasingly diverse work environments.

Wells Fargo & Company is currently in the top twenty among all U.S. companies in profits and market value and is one of America's largest private employers, with more than 155,000 employees.

This is the eighth year of the popular "Professor for a Day" event, sponsored by the Labovitz School of Business and Economics.
