Astronomy Lessons from Star Wars:
Come and Explore the Galaxy with Luke Skywalker and Chewy

UMD Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium will be holding "Astronomy Lessons from Star Wars: Come and Explore the galaxy with Luke Skywalker and Chewy", on November 25, at 7 p.m. in the UMD Marshall Alworth Planetarium.

People of all ages are welcome to attend this free event.

The program will refer to the Star Wars film and uncover the myths and theories behind the ideas posed in the film as well as in real life. The Planetarium offers nightly program showings every Wednesday of the week at 7 p.m.

Each presentation provides unique astronomy shows for elementary school children through adults. All programs are free and pen to the pubic. The intriguing Star Wars program is only one example of the interesting presentations the Planetarium has to offer the public.
