CED Director Elaine Hansen Receives NASBITE CGBP Certification

DULUTH, MN — The University of Minnesota Duluth Center for Economic Development's Director Elaine Hansen has been certified as a National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators Certified Global Business Professional (NASBITE CGBP).

Ms. Hansen has completed a comprehensive curriculum in advanced skills and knowledge to educate and assist clients with exporting issues, including global business management, global marketing, supply chain management, and trade finance.

The NASBITE CGBP certification confirms knowledge in international trade and assures that a person is able to practice global business at the professional level required in today's competitive environments.

The Center for Economic Development (CED) is a joint program of the Labovitz School of Business and Economics, the Swenson College of Science and Engineering, and the Natural Resources Research Institute.
