Duluth Community Children and Families Invited to UMD’s Haunted Halls

Duluth, MN — The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) is offering area children and their families a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween at the 17th Annual UMD Haunted Halls event. UMD Residence Hall staff and residents are hosting Halloween trick-or-treating at UMD on Friday, October 31 from 5-7pm.

Tour guides will be available to help families navigate through the residence halls.

Activities for children on Halloween night include:

  1. Trick-or-Treating in a fun, safe, and well-lit environment
  2. A Game Room filled with activities and prizes
  3. A craft room
  4. Snacks
  5. And much, much more!

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All participants should check-in at the Lawrence A. Ianni Hall Lobby (506 Niagara Court). Parking lot attendants will give directions.

Parking:

FREE Parking will be available in Maroon Lots W and V1 on Junction Avenue.

Directions:

Driving south on College Street: Turn left on to Junction Avenue and take the next left into Lot W and a right into V1.

Driving north on College Street: Turn right on to Junction Avenue, and and take the next left into Lot W and a right into V1.

Donations:

UMD Residence Hall Staff are pleased to support Damiano Center of Duluth. All attendees are encouraged to bring one non-perishable food item or $1 to the Haunted Halls event.
