What is the Office of Civic Engagement? Our office helps connect the campus with the community. We have a longstanding commitment and role of creating actively engaged, life-long citizens. We have established over 70 community partnerships with local organizations. Each year we mobilize approximately 2,000 students who contribute more than 30,000 hours of service to the community. Our mission is to educate students to be civically aware, skilled, and committed to act for the public good. We accomplish this mission through curricular and co-curricular activities that create opportunities for students to find a meaningful role in their local, regional, national and international communities.
