Civic Engagement Mini GrantsNow accepting proposals: Civic Engagement Mini Grant UMD’s Office of Civic Engagement is offering a limited number of Civic Engagement $250 mini grants to support the expansion and enhancement of credit bearing civic engagement and community-based learning experiences at UMD. These mini-grants are designated for projects and activities that promote principles of civic engagement and actively engage students, staff, faculty, and/or community members. Mini-grants may cover materials or supplies to carry out the experience and transportation costs (i.e. parking passes for community partners to come to campus or vehicle rental to transport UMD students to site) that are essential to the goals of the community engagement experience or activity. Please note: this grant will not cover gifts, t-shirts, or conferences. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis (first week of the month).
