Parking Announcement

July 20, 2009

Effective on July 20, 2009. all parking meters on campus will be changed to 20 minutes for a quarter. This equals to $ . 75 for 1 hour of parking.

Also, meters will onlly accept American quarters for payment. Meter will not longer give vaild time for dimes or nickels.

 

June 9, 2009

Designated Reserve & Gold permit renewal application forms were due back to this office on June 1, 2009.

Designated reserve are enforce year round 24/7.

Gold lots are enforced August 1st thru May 31st.

Gold permit application forms are available in the Parking Service Office at 245 Kirby Plaza. Please bring with you your UMD Faculty/Staff ID card and information on your vehicle(s) inlcuding license plate number(s). The last day to sign up for payroll deduction is Friday September 4, 2009.

Faculty/Staff Maroon permit sale will be Monday August 17, 2009 thru Friday September 4, 2009 at the Cashier's window in the Darland Administration Building. You will need your UMD Facuty/Staff ID card and information on your vehicle(s) including license plate number(s). The last day to sign up for payroll deduction is Friday September 4, 2009.

For students that commute to UMD, the Maroon permit sale will be on Labor Day Monday Septmeber 7, 2009 form 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Darland Administration Building. You will need your UMD student ID card, information on your vehicle including license plate number and cash or check only in the amount of $140.00. No debit or credit cards.

Maroon and Resident Housing lots do not require parking pemrits in the summer months.

Also, Pay Lot G is free in the summer months.
