USE OF DESIGNATED RESERVED PARKING SPACES
Designated Reserved (DR) parking spaces are sold to on an annual basis. The numbers of DR spaces are limited. Therefore we attempt to sell these to Deans, Directors, and Department heads unless other unusual circumstances exist. When parked in a DR space, vehicles must display the numbered parking permit for that space. These permits are not transferable. If termination of a purchased permit is desired, the permit holder must advise Parking Services immediately and turn the permit in to Parking Services, 245 Kirby Plaza. DR parking permits are sold by cash, check or payroll deduction from the beginning of the fiscal year (July) and are valid for one full year. These spaces are enforced 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, year round.
Designated Reserved (DR) parking spaces are also sold to University Departments and paid for by Department funds. These spaces are to be used for parking University vehicles that must have the numbered parking permit for that space displayed on the vehicle. Guests of the Department may also use such spaces however guest vehicles must display the numbered parking permit for that space or a copy of the permit for that space that shows the date to be used and the name of the person using the permit. University employees are not allowed to use Cufs paid permits.
