STUDENT PARKING MAROON PERMIT SALE 2008/2009

MAROON PERMIT: Maroon application cards and detailed maps will be handed out in the lobby of the Darland Administration Building on Labor Day Monday September 1, 2008 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM. You will need your UMD student ID card, information on your vehicle including license plate number and cash or check only for the amount of $140.00.

Maroon Permits are not valid for students living in on-campus housing. Students living in on-campus housing will receive their parking permit information thru the Housing Office.

ENFORCEMENT: starting on September 2, 2008, Maroon permits will be enforced from 6:30 AM-6:30 PM Monday - Friday. Parking is allowed in the Maroon lots without a permit from 6:30 PM-12:00 AM (midnight) and on week ends, but there is no overnight parking in these lots.

PAY LOT G is open from 6:15 AM-6:30 PM. Rates per entry are $2.00 cash; $1.50 Ucard/Debitek Card; $1.50 ride share (6:15 -2:00PM). Parking is free from 6:30 PM-12:00 AM (midnight) and on week ends, but there is no overnight parking in the pay lot. The lot opens week days at 6:15 AM when attendent is on duty. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING IN THE PARKING LOTS: Overnight parking is allowed in the metered areas on campus between 6:30 PM-8:00 AM, Monday -Friday with free parking on weekends.
