History
The Planetarium was built in 1965-1967 with a generous donation from Mr. Marshall William Alworth (1882-1980). It cost nearly $200,000. When it first opened. (read more about the history)

Location
The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium is located on the University of Minnesota campus in Duluth, Minnesota. We're on the corner of College St. and University Drive. Metered parking is available in Lots A and B. (directions and more information)
