Pictures and video of Venus transitting (passing in front of) the sun. Venus is the round black dot in the upper-right part of the sun. The other dark spots on the sun are sunspots.

Visitors catching glimpses of the transit through telesopes provided by the Arrowhead Astronomical Society. Visitors also watched the transit through solar filter glasses provided by the planetarium.
