Department of Political Science gift giving opportunities
If you wish to make a donation to the Department of Political Science, there are several opportunities from which to choose. Below are details about each fund associated with the Department.

Scholarship awarded to the Political Science sophomore with the best overall GPA. |
The UMD Julius F. Wolff Jr. Scholarship |
Scholarship awarded to the Political Science junior with the best overall GPA. |
The UMD Francis H. de Groat Award |
Award made to the graduating Political Science Honors student with the best GPA in Political Science courses. |
The UMD M. Harry Lease Jr. Award |
Two awards are granted annually: one given to the best student in a constitutional law course who has financial need; a second given to a student with a GPA of 3.0 or better who has financial need and showed improvement from the first test of the semester in the constituional law course. |
The UMD Diane & Calvin Rudolph Family Scholarship |
Scholarships awarded to undergraduate students with need who are studying pre-law or have the potential to be accepted into law school. |
The UMD Michael S. and Carol Berman Mock Trial Foundation Account |
Funding to assist in offsetting expenses of the UMD mock trial teams. |
