PRC Corporate and Individual Donor Memberships

With the minerals industry standing to be the prime beneficiary of the PRC's mission to provide training and support to students in modern field methods and map-making, we are looking to the minerals industry to serve as the PRC's principal benefactor. Therefore, to sustain the long-term success of the PRC, we are asking mineral resource companies and individuals related to the minerals industry to become corporate or professional members of the PRC at one of the levels listed below.

- Graduate research assistanships; available to MS and PhD graduate students at UMD to support field-based dissertation projects in Precambrian geology
- Small grants; available to undergraduate or graduate students conducting Precambrian field studies in the Lake Superior region (available to UMD and non-UMD students)
- Precambrian Field Camp; funds will help keep tuition affordable by subsidizing partial costs of the field camp
- Outreach activites; (e.g., conducting field trips in the Lake Superior area for visiting student groups; sponsorship of lectures on Precambrian field geology; support for K-12 and general public education on Precambrian geology and mineral resources)

A complete financial accounting of PRC income and expenses will be published in an annual report released in February of each year.
