Outdoor Guiding for Groups and Individuals
Climb with us at the beautiful outdoor climbing areas located near Duluth and along the North Shore. Let our experienced instructors be your guides for outdoor climbing sessions that are just for fun or skill instruction based or both!
Who can participate:
o Anyone can take part in our guided climbing sessions, no UMD affiliation is needed.
o Beginners through advanced climbers are welcome. We will structure your session to meet your needs.
o Children under 18 years old must have a parent's signature on a waiver
Cost:
Group Instruction $45 per person for a half day (3 hours)
(8 - 12 people) $70 per person for a full day (6 hours)
Private Instruction $25 per hour for 1 person (plus travel fee)
$20 per hour for 2 or more (plus travel fee)
Travel Fee: Add $100 per session for North Shore or Taylors Falls

Climbing Sites Available
Ely's Peak - friendly, forested climbs near Duluth
Whoopie Wall - a small urban crag, right in the city of Duluth
Silver Cliff - tall cliffs on the North Shore of Lake Superior
Shovel Point - beautiful sea cliffs right above Lake Superior
Palisade Head - steep, dramatic sea cliffs - intermediate to advanced
Carlton Peak - a scenic dome of rock on the North Shore
Taylors Falls - great climbs north of the Twin Cities
Our instructors will meet you at your chosen location.
Equipment
All equipment is provided and included in the cost.
You provide:
- clothing and shoes for all weather
- a filled water bottle
- snacks and/or lunch
