You may prevent release of public information outside the University.
You can do this on the Student
Self-Service website under View/Change Your Personal Info.
The suppress remains in effect until you request removal. There are
two options available:
Postal address, e-mail address, and phone number will not be released
to third parties.
No information will appear in the next edition of
the University's on-line or printed directories. For the UMD Campus
Directory which appears in November, complete the suppress before
the end of the third week of fall semester.
