Canceling Classes
Since canceling even one credit may change your financial aid eligibility,
contact the Student Assistance Center, Solon Campus Center 23, for further
information if you drop credits.
You can cancel your spot in a class through the 8th week of a semester
and may be eligible for a refund. These guidelines
MUST be observed:
- If canceled before the end of the second week, the course will be
deleted from your record (without a "W" on the transcript).
- If canceled between the third week and the end of the 8th week of
a semester, the course will remain on your record, marked with a "W"
as the grade.
- Canceling courses after the end of the 8th week of a semester is
not permitted normally. Exceptions require that a petition be filed
documenting unusual circumstances.
- If you stop going to class, your registration is not dropped automatically.
You MUST do the drop yourself.
