Tuition Refund Petition Guidelines
effective December 28, 2004
Petition process begins in collegiate office.
Petitions must be received by the August 31st deadline for the academic
year or are automatically denied.
Approved petitions will receive refunds of 75%, 50%, 25%, or 0% based on
the amount of time spent in class. W's will remain on the academic record.
100% refunds and removal of W's from the transcript are reserved for
exceptional cases.
Petitions must have supporting documentation written on official letterhead
stationery or they are returned to the student.
Petitions are only accepted from the student. Petitions submitted by
parents or third parties are only accepted in an extraordinary situation
such as a serious illness or missing person.
