The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) enables students of any age to take exams on a variety of college-level topics. The University of Minnesota Duluth offers college credit for certain CLEP exams. The guide below tells you which CLEP tests are accepted by UMD for credit toward or exemption from some degree program requirements. Tests not listed below are not currently accepted for credit or exemption.

To arrange for CLEP testing, contact the Testing Center (612-624-9853). To have official score reports sent for CLEP tests previously taken, contact the College Board.

If you have CLEP questions, contact the Office of Financial Aid and Registrar at 218-726-8795.
