Non-degree status

If you have applied for admission to a degree-seeking program and are waiting to be admitted, you may be eligible for benefits as a Continuing Education non-degree student for up to two semesters. The courses you are taking must be applicable to the degree you will be seeking once you are formally admitted to UMD.

If you have been dismissed from your collegiate unit and are taking classes as a Continuing Education non-degree student to raise your GPA, you are not eligible for benefits. You will be eligible to once again receive benefits only after you are readmitted to a degree-seeking program.
