UMD Student Learning Goals

Completion of a bachelor's degree signifies attainment of the skills, knowledge and qualities that will help lead you to professional success and personal fulfillment.

UMD has adopted the following six student learning goals and nine learning outcomes. Your major and minor courses, liberal education courses, and co-curricular experiences are aligned with and committed to your attainment of these goals - essential knowledge and skill areas for every UMD graduate.
