Thank you for visiting the website for the MBA program offered by the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD). This program is accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting body for baccalaureate and graduate business programs in the U.S. and internationally.

Our MBA program is designed and offered for college graduates who are currently pursuing professional careers on a full-time basis and wish to complete general management education at the graduate level on a part-time basis. Over 95% of the students in our program have at least 3 years of full-time work experience before beginning their graduate-level work and are working on a full-time basis while completing their MBA program work on a part-time basis, planning to complete the program in 3-5 years. However, it is possible to be admitted to the program without having worked on a full-time basis after completing an undergraduate degree and to pursue completion of the MBA program on a full-time basis, which would take a minimum of 2 years.

If you completed a baccalaureate degree in engineering, science, education, fine or liberal arts, or an area of health sciences or technology, earning an MBA degree may be useful for opening doors and enhancing prospects for a career in management. If your degree was in accounting, business, or economics or you have completed course work in those areas for any reason in the past, you can update, sharpen, and generally improve and broaden your skills and knowledge in these areas by completing our MBA program.

The UMD MBA program is currently being offered in Rochester, Minnesota, as well as on the campus in Duluth. If you are interested in more specific information about the MBA program offered in Duluth, you will find it by checking the various links above. If you are interested in more specific information about the MBA program offered in Rochester, please go to the following website URL: http://www.r.umn.edu/05_prog_bus-mba.htm.
