Cindy Beaudin has been associated with UMD
since 1980. She joined the LSBE
Dean's Office in 1988 as an Executive
Administrative Assistant serving LSBE
faculty, staff and students
primarily in the areas of payroll, human
resources, employee benefits, and accounts
payable. She has served on the LSBE
Outreach Committee since 1996 and in
1997, was
a recipient of the UMD Continuous Outstanding
Service award.
Prior to LSBE she worked for the UMD
Housing
Office and the UMD Natural Resources
Research Institute. She holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Communication with
a
minor in Business Administration. |

Sally Burkholder joined
the Dean's office at the Labovitz School
of Business & Economics in April of 2002.
She serves as support staff for the Directors
of the Technology, Financial Markets,
Internship and Rochester MBA programs.
She also assists with accounts payable,
the student loaner laptop program and
various other responsibilities for the
School's faculty, staff and students.
She is a member of the Technology Committee,
Joy Committee, and serves as Senate secretary
for LSBE. Sally earned her Bachelor of
Arts degree in Interior Design from McPherson
College in McPherson, Kansas. Her previous
work experience has included positions
in the fields of tax accounting, residential
and commercial interior desgin, sales
and marketing. |

Sharon Cripe is originally from the central Minnesota area. She
joined the Dean's Office at the Labovitz School of Business and Economics in June of 2000
working for the Dean and Associate Dean. She came from North Hennepin Community
College, a diverse two-year community college in Brooklyn Park. While there, she
was a faculty secretary for eight years in the Social Science Department working
for disciplines such as Economics, History, Geography, Political Science,
Anthropology, Sociology, and Psychology. Prior to her employment in the academic
setting, she worked at the Cambridge Star newspaper in Cambridge as a
secretary/receptionist/billing specialist. She has always been interested in the
arts and has performed musically with her family. |

Lawrence Johnson began his current position as
Director of Development with the University of Minnesota Duluth
in the summer of 2004. He brings to the Labovitz School of Business
and Economics over ten years of fund raising experience including
assignments as Director of Planned Giving, Annual Fund Director
and Alumni Director. He earned his B.A. degree in Political
Science at Long Beach State University in 1987 and his M.A.
degree in Education at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse
in 1994. He serves on the School's Administrative Committee,
CARE Committee, Outreach Committee and Ex Officio member of
the Labovitz School of Business and Economics Board of Advisors. |

Carolyn Zanko has worked in the Labovitz School of
Business and Economics for
22 years and is currently the Assistant
to the Dean for Administration, responsible
for the School's $4 Million budget and
personnel matters, and many other
administrative tasks. She serves on
the School's Administrative Committee,
Operations Subcommittee, Assessment Committee,
Technology and Web Committess; and
serves on the UMD Executive Committee
of the Campus Assembly. She earned
her B.A
degree in Education at the University
of Northern Iowa and her M.A. degree
in
education at UMD. |
