Equipment & Checkout

Loaner Laptops

There are currently twenty (20) laptops available for check-out. The laptops can be checked out free of charge from Vickie in SBE 19. The loaner program is available to LSBE students only.

The laptops are loaded with the following software:

• Windows XP Professional
• Microsoft Office 2003 Professional
• Microsoft Visio 2002
• Microsoft Project 2002
• SAM 2003 3.0

All systems in the LSBE loaner laptop program have "Deep Freeze" protection software installed. If you wish to save any materials, you must either:

• Save to a Flash Drive,
• Burn a CD, Or
• Save to the F: Thawspace located in My Computer or on the Desktop

Any material saved outside of these spaces will be erased completely after you turn the system off!

Digital Camera & Digital Video Equipment

The LSBE has one Sony Mavica MVC-CD400 digital camera available for student checkout.

Also available for on campus checkout is a Sony DCR-TRV 340 Digital Video camera.

This equipment is for use on campus only, except under special permission of the Technology Program Director and when accompanied by a faculty member.
