Financial Markets Lab SBE 51 |
|
One of the primary goals of the Financial Markets Program is to provide "hands-on" learning. Through the creation of the Financial Markets Lab, students will have "fingertip" access into the workings of today's global financial community. Live data feeds provide our students with instant access to current events and information that shape today's global financial markets. Students learn how to use state-of-the-art technology that provides up-to-the-minute information and data. The Financial Markets Lab is located on the main floor of the Labavitz School of Business & Economics building, and occupies approximately 1,000 square feet. As the direct result of a generous gift from Wells Fargo Bank, the Lab is equipped with 20 workstations providing real-time data feeds and information services. Also included in the Financial Markets Lab is state-of-the-art multimedia and presentation equipment, a centrally located conference table serving as the "round" table for investment idea discussions, and an on-site library and information area. |
