Internationalization of the Curriculum
Eighteen existing courses offered by SBE have been internationalized (in Finance and Management Information Sciences (FMIS), Management Studies, Accounting, and Economics).

This initiative also supported the enhancement of 4 “integrative” courses (1 each in Accounting, Economics, FMIS, and Management Studies)

A new course on International Management was developed by a faculty member using financial support from the Grant.

Business German
LSBE has collaborated with the College of Liberal Arts in the development of a core Business German course. This course has been integrated into the Foreign Languages and Literatures curriculum.

International Internships
Seven LSBE students were offered scholarships to do internships in Sweden and Germany .

Speaker's Symposium on International Business
SBE has sponsored a speakers' symposium featuring external speakers on a common, sustained theme relating to international business.

Faculty Visits Abroad
In 2002, six SBE faculty members visited universities and businesses in Sweden , with the support of an external expert in the field. In 2004, another group of six faculty members went on a CIBER-coordinated visit to businesses and universities in Japan , China , and Vietnam .
