PSE is a local chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon a national co-educational fraternity in
marketing, sales management and selling, which helps fill the gaps between college and a
professional future. PSE is sponsored by the Sales and Marketing Executives (SME),
Minneapolis Chapter. Operations of local chapters are much like a business organization,
and provide excellent opportunities to gain experience with leadership, group dynamics,
project management, and organization skills. The guidance and structure provided to PSE
helps students maintain a professional focus and promotes career advancement by offering
opportunities to gain practical experience. PSE’s activities include: guest speakers,
monthly luncheon meetings with Sales and Marketing executives, attendance at the national
PSE conference, activities with the Chamber of Commerce, the promotion of the Muscular
Dystrophy Association, aVolleyball Marathon, the “Blanket Duluth” fund raising event, and
the Viking Basketball Tournament to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Duluth.
