Description of instruments and special capabilities: Classical equipment such as centrifuges, ultracentrifuges, gamma counter, scintillation counters, developers, phosphorimagers, gel docs etc.; transmission electron microscopes; high performance liquid chromatographs; cell culture facilities; mouse embryonic stem cell facility (room 61); autoclave; and various specialized equipment utilized in individual investigator’s laboratories. An alpha Innotech Fluor Chem HD2 system and a Kodak 2000MM system are available for assessment of chemiluminescence, fluorescence and luminescence is available in room 277 of the Medical School. A Beckman Coulter Biomek 2000 robot is available for high-throughput assay set-up.
