Proteomics node equipment includes the following: Immobiline Dry Strip Rewelling tray from Amersham Pharmacia Biotech for loading protein samples and reswelling dry strips; First dimension IEF-1 Multiphor II Electrophoresis unit with immobiline dry strip kit form Amersham Pharmacia Biotech; Electrophoresis power supply EPS 3501 XL from Amersham Pharmacia Biotech; Fishcer Scientific Isotemp refrigerated Circulator-Isotem 1016S second dimension IEF; Hoefer SE 600 Ruby standard dual cooled gel electrophoresis unit from Amersham Pharmacia Biotech; and Electrophoresis power supply EPS 601 from Amersham Pharmacia Biotech. The Proteomics node is located in room 137 of the Chemistry Building. In addition, a Beckman Coulter Proteome Lab PF2D system is available in room 293.
