Robert Hecky's (Dept of Geological Sciences) Research Selected as One of "Top 100 Science Stories of 2008"

Robert Hecky, McKnight Professor of Lake Ecology, Department of Geological Sciences, was featured in Discover magazine's January 2009 issue. The issue announced Discover's selection of the top 100 science stories of 2008. Hecky and co-author's publication "Eutrophication of lakes cannot be controlled by reducing nitrogen inputs: Results of a 37 year whole- ecosystem experiment" was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences last August.
