Minimum Qualifications:
- SCSE Major — Students must have a declared major within the Swenson College of Science and Engineering.
- CEHSP Minor/Secondary Major — Students must have a minor or secondary major within CEHSP to become a math or science teacher.
Deadline: March 11 - no applications accepted after that date
When are Funds Awarded: Recipients are notified in August via email.

Summary: The Dr. Robert W. Stanley Memorial Fund was created by Dr. and Mrs. James and Cecilia Riehl to honor the memory of Dr. Robert W. Stanley, Cecilia’s father. Dr. Stanley was a Professor of Physics at Purdue University and a strong advocate for math and science education. The purpose of the Dr. Robert W. Stanley Memorial Fund is to provide scholarship assistance to students within the Swenson College of Science and Engineering who have a major within SCSE as well as a teaching major/minor in a math or science field. This honors Dr. Robert Stanley who believed strongly in math and science education as well as the Riehl's strong support for these areas.
