We have planned some events for parents and family members during the first part of Bulldog Welcome Week. Parents, please note that we welcome you to these programs, but they are not required for parents.

Once you have helped your student move in, please move your car to a Maroon Parking Lot on Thursday and Friday. Please be aware that all meters are enforced; read the sign on the meters for hours and days of enforcement. There is no overnight parking in Maroon Lots. Also do not park in any Gold Parking Lot. Gold Lots are reserved for cars with special Gold Lot permits. Tickets will be issued for parking violations.

Please be aware that parking tickets on UMD campus, and the surrounding area are real. They are issued through the City of Duluth, and the University Police.
