The Office for Students in Transition provides assistance to transfer students through our Advisement & Registration program, Fall Welcome, and by assisting transfer students in finding specific campus resources. Transfer students are always welcome to stop by our office with questions and concerns. Advisement & Registration for Transfer StudentsIn order to register at UMD for the first time, you must be advised through this program. Class Transfer ManualsNew transfer students are sent a copy of their Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) by the Admissions Office after admission to UMD. The online Transfer Manual can help understand how credits from other colleges will transfer to UMD. Questions about how credits transfer should be directed to the UMD Admissions office: 1-800-232-1339. New Student GuideThe New Student Guide is given out at our in-person Advisement & Registration sessions. It is available here in PDF format.
