Fall Welcome: UMD's Fall Transfer Student Orientation Day

We are looking forward to having you join our UMD community! We encourage you to participate in Fall Welcome, your fall transfer student orientation program. Fall Welcome is designed to give you some good information about making a smooth transition to UMD, get you connected with your Touchpoints Advisor and meet other new transfer students. You will also have an opportunity to meet staff, get questions answered, and learn about some UMD campus resources. We will have computers and a printer available for you to print your class schedule and receive a guided tour to see where your classes meet.

Fall Welcome Schedule

Monday September 3rd 2:00-5:00 p.m. Kirby Ballroom

1:45-2:00: Student check-in
2:15-2:30: Presentation: Your Transition to UMD
2:30-3:15: Introduction of Transfer Touchpoints Advisors
meetings with Touchpoints groups
3:15-4:00: Information Fair
4:00-5:00: Print class schedules-optional
Guided campus tours-optional
